Internationale Tapisserie-Triennale, Lodz 2022, Teil 2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Meine diesj\u00e4hrige Reise nach Lodz war viel zu kurz, nur zwei Tage voller Ausstellungsbesuche, beginnend mit einer morgendlichen Besuch der <strong>Ausstellung \u201eWlodzimierz Cygan Weaving \u2013 6 x 3 \u2013 Between the Lines\u201c.<\/strong> Pr\u00e4sentiert in einem wundersch\u00f6nen alten Geb\u00e4ude, zeigte es haupts\u00e4chlich Arbeiten aus den Jahren 2020 bis 2022, bei denen optische Fasern verwendet wurden, zusammen mit einigen seiner fr\u00fcheren Webarbeiten, bei denen er eine Technik verwendete, die \u00c4nderungen in der Webrichtung beinhaltete. Es war eine Freude zu sehen, was dieser gro\u00dfartige K\u00fcnstler w\u00e4hrend der Pandemie geschaffen hat. Oktober 2022 fand die <a href=\"https:\/\/www.textile-forum-blog.org\/de\/2022\/10\/the-17th-international-triennale-of-tapestry-lodz-2022\/\">Er\u00f6ffnung der 17. International Triennial of Tapestry, Lodz 2022 statt, wie in Teil 1 meines Blogeintrags vom Oktober 2022 beschrieben.<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Am zweiten Tag fand <strong>das Symposium der 4. Triennale f\u00fcr junge Textilkunst in der Strzemi\u0144ski-Kunstakademie in Lodz<\/strong> statt.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Zun\u00e4chst gab es in der Eingangshalle der Akademie eine beeindruckende <strong>Ausstellung der Mentoren der jungen Textilk\u00fcnstler<\/strong>, haupts\u00e4chlich Textilkunstdozenten aus verschiedenen Akademien in Polen und anderen europ\u00e4ischen L\u00e4ndern, sogar aus den USA und aus Japan. Zu den beeindruckenden Arbeiten, die ich sah, geh\u00f6rten Werke von Magda Sobon aus Lodz, Anna Maria Orban aus Bukarest, Aet Ollisaar aus Estland sowie Wlodzimierz Cygan und Lidia Choczaj, beide aus Lodz. Ann Coxon von der Tate Modern, London; Mizuki Takahashi vom Centre for Heritage, Arts and Textiles in Hongkong; und schlie\u00dflich die K\u00fcnstlerin Rivane Neuenschwander aus Brasilien.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Textile Pers\u00f6nlichkeiten aus dem Bildungsbereich sprachen in der zweiten Rednerrunde, darunter John Paul Morabito, Professor der Kent State University School of Art, USA; Tim Parry Williams, Professor f\u00fcr Textil an der Universit\u00e4t Bergen, Norwegen; Professor Janis Jefferies aus London; und Lala de Dios, Textildozentin und Aktivistin aus Spanien.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In einem dritten Vortrag diskutierten Galeristen und Kuratoren aus London und Warschau \u00fcber den Verkauf von Textilkunst. Dieses Thema ist f\u00fcr junge Textilk\u00fcnstler sehr wichtig und h\u00e4tte praxisorientierter sein k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Am Nachmittag hatten wir einen sehr kurzen <strong>Besuch in der Nationalen Ausstellung der polnischen Tapisserie \u201eMaterial Fatique (Materialerm\u00fcdung)\u201c<\/strong>, die sich ebenfalls im Zentralen Textilmuseum von Lodz befindet. Der Kurator Jakub Gawkowski wollte \u201edie Position der Textilkunst in der breiteren polnischen Kunstlandschaft hervorheben\u201c. F\u00fcr jemanden, der zum ersten Mal die polnische Tapisserie-Ausstellung besuchte, machten die Werke einen sehr guten Eindruck, besonders weil sie in diesem sch\u00f6nen ehemaligen Fabrikgeb\u00e4ude ausgestellt waren. Aber ich war entt\u00e4uscht, keine Namen zu sehen, die ich von fr\u00fcher kannte; Keiner der gro\u00dfen K\u00fcnstler, die ich kenne, war dabei. Keine K\u00fcnstler die in fr\u00fcheren Ausstellungen polnische Textilkunst gezeigt hatten. Es scheint also, dass der Kurator etwas anderes wollte, das n\u00e4her an der Sph\u00e4re der bildenden Kunst liegt. Triennale f\u00fcr junge Textilkunst, die in der St\u00e4dtischen Kunstgalerie Lodz<\/strong> in einem wundersch\u00f6nen Park stattfand. Diese Show war eine \u00dcberraschung, weil junge K\u00fcnstler ohne die Intervention eines Kurators mit einer speziellen Agenda teilnehmen konnten, daf\u00fcr aber mit einer prominenten Jury, darunter solche Pers\u00f6nlichkeiten wie <strong>Hella Jongerius<\/strong> (eine der interessantesten Designer, die ich kenne, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.textile-forum-blog.org\/de\/2021\/06\/hella-jongerius-woven-cosmos\/\">siehe meinen Blog von 30.6.2021 zu ihrer j\u00fcngsten Ausstellung in Berlin)<\/a>; Jessica Hemmings, Professorin f\u00fcr Kunsthandwerk an der Universit\u00e4t G\u00f6teborg, Schweden, und Janis Jefferies, emeritierte Professorin f\u00fcr Bildende Kunst. Ich war sehr erfreut zu sehen, wie viele Studenten immer noch wunderbare Textilkunst herstellen, und sie schienen aus der ganzen Welt zu kommen. Das fand ich sehr beruhigend, weil es bisher immer an jungen Textilk\u00fcnstlern gefehlt hat. Jurkowski aus Polen und Maria Pilm aus Estland; einer f\u00fcr interdisziplin\u00e4re Textilien an Renata Ramola aus Polen und schlie\u00dflich einer f\u00fcr Design an Zuzanna W\u00f3jcik, die in Bor\u00e5s, Schweden, studiert hat. Neben die der Preistr\u00e4gern, mochte ich auch Arbeiten von Volha Kunats, Martyna Luszczynska, Natasza Lewandowska , und Katarzyna Glinska-Hyclak \u00a0aus Polen sowie Kako Myamoto, Japan; und Meagan Smith, USA. Die hier gezeigte Textilkunst war mehr als nur interessant und die Ausstellung insgesamt hinterlie\u00df einen sehr guten Eindruck.<strong> Ich freue mich, da\u00df alles ein zweites Mal zu sehen, wenn die ETN-Konferenz Anfang M\u00e4rz 2023 stattfindet<\/strong>.
