Fiberart International 2022<\/strong> <\/span><\/h3>\n

Dieser internationale Wettbewerb wird seit 1976 vom Fiberart Guild of Pittsburgh Inc. organisiert, einer von Mitgliedern unterst\u00fctzten Organisation f\u00fcr Textilkunst. Ich hatte angefangen, diesen Wettbewerb in meinen Blog (https:\/\/www.textile-forum-blog.org\/2017\/09\/fiberart-international-2019\/<\/a>) aufzunehmen, seit der Schwerpunkt auf unerwarteter Beziehungen zwischen Textil und anderen kreativen Disziplinen zu liegen kam. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Jetzt gibt es noch mehr Gr\u00fcnde f\u00fcr K\u00fcnstler aus Europa, sich f\u00fcr diesen Wettbewerb zu interessieren, denn die Organisatoren hat jetzt diesmal eine ausl\u00e4ndische Jury ausgew\u00e4hlt (soweit ich wei\u00df zum ersten Mal): <\/span><\/p>\n

– Chiachio & Giannone<\/strong>, K\u00fcnstler aus Argentinien, die mit Handstickerei arbeiten und f\u00fcr ihre weltweite Teilnahme an Kunstausstellungen bekannt sind; <\/span><\/p>\n

-Jessica Hemmings<\/strong>, Professorin f\u00fcr Handwerk und Vizepr\u00e4fektin f\u00fcr Forschung an der HDK-Valand, Universit\u00e4t G\u00f6teborg, Schweden;<\/span><\/p>\n

-Nnenna Okore<\/strong>, eine K\u00fcnstlerin aus Nigeria, Professorin f\u00fcr Kunst an der North Park University in Chicago, wo sie Bildhauerei unterrichtet.<\/span><\/p>\n

Die Organisatoren m\u00f6chten “das Beste der zeitgen\u00f6ssischen Kunst ausstellen und Beitr\u00e4ge aus der ganzen Welt einladen. Die Ausstellung ist inzwischen weltweit anerkannt als einer der Trends und Innovationen der Textilkunst dokumentiert. Ziel der Ausstellung ist es, innovative Arbeiten in traditionellen Textilmaterialien, Struktur, Prozessen und Geschichte zu integrieren, sowie Kunst zu zeigen, die unerwartete Beziehungen zwischen Textil und anderen kreativen Disziplinen zum Thema hat.”<\/span><\/p>\n
