Papierbiennale im Museum Rijswijk vom<br \/>\n12. Juni bis 15. Nov. 2020 in Rijswijk bei Den Haag<\/b><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\nIn diesem Jahr war das von den Veranstaltern gew\u00e4hlte Thema &#8216;Zuhause&#8217;: &#8220;Als wir das Thema f\u00fcr die Papierbiennale 2020 festlegten, konnten wir nicht wissen, dass es so bald zu einem so wichtigen Thema werden w\u00fcrde. Es war bereits aktuell, aber die internationale Pandemie, die uns dazu brachte, zu Hause zu arbeiten, zu Hause zu unterrichten, uns zu Hause zu unterhalten, gab ihm eine ganz neue Dimension, die noch nie so viel diskutiert wurde wie jetzt. &#8216;Zuhause&#8217; ist ein Thema, mit dem sich jetzt jeder auf der Welt besch\u00e4ftigt, nicht nur Obdachlose, Fl\u00fcchtlinge und Staatenlose. Mehr denn je braucht jeder ein sicheres Zuhause.&#8221;<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Dies ist die erste Papierbiennale, die nicht von der Kuratorin Anne Kloosterboer mit ihrer langj\u00e4hrigen Erfahrung sowohl in der Papier- als auch in der Textilbiennale organisiert wurde. Es scheint, dass sich das gesamte Team ver\u00e4ndert hat. Es gab niemanden, den ich w\u00e4hrend meines Besuchs im Juli 2020 noch kannte. Der heutige Direktor des Museums Rijswijk erkl\u00e4rt in einem Video zur Papier-Biennale, dass \u00c4nderungen zu erwarten sind: &#8220;Mehr Fokus auf bildende Kunst und weniger auf Techniken!&#8221; Dann hat er die bisherige Arbeit von Anne Kloosterboer nicht verstanden. Sie mochte Papier und Textilien wegen der Leichtigkeit und Verspieltheit, die sie der bildenden Kunst verliehen! Dass sie jetzt mit einem Schwerpunkt auf Techniken in Zusammenhang gebracht wird, mag an ihrer Liebe zu Textilien liegen, die oft von ihrer Herstellungstechnik her beurteilt werden. Wie auch immer, ein Museum sollte seine ehemaligen Kuratoren besser behandeln!<\/p>\n<p>Der Name der neuen Kuratorin lautet Diana Wind, Kuratorin f\u00fcr zeitgen\u00f6ssische Kunst, die anscheinend f\u00fcr die 13. Papierbiennale 2020 verantwortlich war. Um es klar zu sagen, dies war nicht die beste der dreizehn Auflagen der Papierbiennale! Insgesamt machte es den Eindruck, dass die Papierszene etwas m\u00fcde geworden ist. Es gab keine wirklich gro\u00dfen Entdeckungen, au\u00dfer vielleicht die Portr\u00e4tarbeit in Pappe von Quently Barbara mit Abbildungen seiner Familie auf Cura\u00e7ao. Er konnte einen sehr sensiblen Ausdruck in einem sehr rauen Material zeigen! Die Werke von Anna van Bohemen, Mardoe Painter und Marianne Lammersen (Gewinnerin des Publikumspreises), alle drei aus den Niederlanden, haben mir sehr gut gefallen. Dann war es sehr sch\u00f6n, die Werke von Josephine Tabbert aus Deutschland und Mirjam Lodo\u00f1o aus Kolumbien, die ich schon lange bewundere, wieder zu sehen.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\nEin anderer Kritiker dieser Biennale bemerkte, dass diese Ausstellung nicht so viel Papier enthielt, sondern alle Arten von Materialien wie Holz, Rattan und Schnur, auch Fotos und Papierarbeiten (Michael Hasted: &#8220;Perhaps Paper itself isn\u00b4t quite as much in evidence as in previous years&#8221;).<\/p>\n<p>Mindestens die H\u00e4lfte der Teilnehmer stammte aus den Niederlanden. Dies war auch der Fall, als Anne Kloosterboer noch verantwortlich war. Ich halte dies f\u00fcr ung\u00fcnstig f\u00fcr den internationalen Ruhm dieser Veranstaltung. Wenn es international sein soll, dann richtig. Dies hat aber m\u00f6glicherweise auch mit der Pandemie zu tun, die nicht so viele Einsendungen aus dem Ausland erlaubte. Diese Biennale wurde im Juni 2020 er\u00f6ffnet. Dass das m\u00f6glich war, war in diesen schwierigen Zeiten bereits eine Gro\u00dftat! <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\nDie n\u00e4chste Textilbiennale wird im Juni 2021 zum Thema &#8216;Food for Thought&#8217; er\u00f6ffnet. Leider habe ich die Frist zur Ver\u00f6ffentlichung verpasst, da ich dachte, sie w\u00fcrde insgesamt aufh\u00f6ren. Dass auch die Textilbiennale fortgesetzt wird, ist eine gute Botschaft. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Zur 13.
