This Biennial took place from 5 October till 11 November 2017 in different venues in Montevideo. The World textile Art (WTA) organizers, guided by Pilar Tobon, did a great  job. Over 250 participating artists, curators and writers from all continents were present at the many openings and invitations in the city of Montevideo. I will publish here the most important exhibitions showing some of the prize winning works beginning with the Textile Art in Large Format exhibition at the exhibition center SUBTE in Montevideo, where I was in the jury together with Silke (Argentina) and Lin Lecheng (China).
